HayView Terms and Conditions:

A deposit of 50% is due within 3 days of booking. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to your stay.

Cancellation Policy: Your deposit will be refunded minus a $50 administration fee should you need to cancel prior to 2 weeks before your stay, or we can postpone your booking at no cost. For cancellation within 2 weeks of your stay we will retain 50% of your deposit.

Your security deposit is fully refundable within 7 days, following confirmation from the cleaner that there is no damage (as outlined below).

Your payment covers your stated number of guests (maximum 6) and number of bedrooms used. You need to notify us of any additional guests staying at HayView and the additional supplement per person per night/week or per extra bedroom will apply.

HayView is not responsible for events outside of its control such as bush fire, storm damage or power outages in the area. We will refund you for the time period that HayView is unoccupiable but we are not responsible for finding alternative accommodation or refunding you for any travel costs incurred with your booking. We recommend that you take out travel insurance if you are incurring costs relating to your trip to HayView.

HayView is a holiday rental and is not available for parties or functions nor is it available for “bucks” parties, “hen’s” week-ends or any occasion involving the use of alcohol resulting in drunk and disorderly behaviour.

HayView has a strict non smoking policy throughout the property and grounds.

Pets are not accepted.

HayView’s alarm is set via landline from Sydney. Check in and check out times, as negotiated with us, need to be observed. If you arrive early or depart late and are unable to make direct contact with us to let us know, you will trigger the alarm and be liable for the $100 call out fee levied by the Alarm Monitoring Service.

HayView is a quality property and we ask that you take all due care. We reserve the right to charge guests with the costs of replacement or repair to bring furnishings and fittings back to the extremely high standard that we have set. We do not charge for reasonable damage such as breakage of glass and china. Examples of unreasonable damage include, but are not limited to, soiled or stained bed covers, rugs, carpets, upholstery etc; damage to furniture or floors; and lost or damaged remote controls. It is a condition of occupancy that guests report any breakages and/or damage to furnishings and fittings on departure and that they “make good” those items that leave HayView at a lesser standard than when they arrived.

Under no circumstances should large items of furniture be moved. Should this occur a fee may be charged.

Whilst we know that the vast majority of people do the right thing we advise all our guests that under our terms and conditions HayView must be left in a tidy state with dishes washed and put away or put through the wash cycle in the dishwasher prior to vacating the premises. If extra cleaning time is required a fee applies.

The owners of HayView take no responsibility for the loss of guests’ property.

We are now required under the ‘Holidays Rental Code of Conduct’ to advise you of the following obligations as a guest of HayView:

Guests must:

9.1. Maintain noise to a reasonable level, in particular, between 10pm and 8am.

9.2. Comply with parking regulations and show consideration to neighbours and other vehicles;

9.3. Dispose of garbage and recycling in accordance with the usual practice at the property and in the allocated bins. Guests must not leave excess rubbish in common or public areas;

9.4. Notify the Manager of any complaints as soon as is practicable;

9.5. Minimise their impact upon the residential amenity of the neighbours and local community.

9.6. Be responsible for their Visitors

Guests are granted a limited permission to occupy the Property for holiday purposes. This is not a residential tenancy agreement under the residential tenancy legislation. Failure to comply with the Guest’s obligations in the Terms and Conditions may result in termination of permission to occupy the property, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges if costs are incurred.
